Call (520) 335-3953." lang: en --- Image: Carton flow rack in an Oro Valley parts storeroom (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/assets/hero-location-DSM_BmzI.jpg) Oro Valley, AZ ยท about 12 mi from Tucson # Carton Flow Rack and Light-Duty Racking in Oro Valley, AZ Carton flow rack in Oro Valley, AZ fits the bioscience, diagnostics and electronics makers at Innovation Park, where parts move by the case and the bin. Carton flow shelving and light-duty pallet racks do more here than tall big-box rack would. Storerooms sit next to production, so layouts stay compact and tidy. Call (520) 335-3953: 5203353953 ## Innovation Park Storerooms Innovation Park (Innovation Corporate Center) covers 333 acres at the northwest corner of Oracle Rd and Tangerine Rd. Tenants include tissue-diagnostics manufacturing with about 1,800 employees, a semiconductor-laser maker, an aircraft-electronics maker and a university bioscience incubator. None of those stores much by the full pallet. They store reagents, components, packaging and finished kits. Image: Carton flow shelving with labeled cases (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/assets/warehouse-aisle-DrDu-B7-.jpg) ## Carton Flow Shelving for Kitting and Picking Carton flow (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/carton-flow-rack) puts each SKU on its own inclined lane, loaded from behind and picked from the front. Kitting stations get every part within reach, and restock stays out of the picker's way. Lane width follows the case, and pitch follows weight and box bottom. Totes and bins can roll too. ## Light-Duty Pallet Racks and Clean-Room-Friendly Shelving For bulk packaging and incoming pallets, light-duty selective pallet racks (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pallet-rack) with wire decking stay open and easy to wipe down. Wire decking lets light through and keeps dust from collecting. Near controlled areas we lean toward simple shelving with smooth finishes. Beam levels are set at working heights rather than packed to the ceiling. ## Economic Expansion Zone Sites The town's Economic Expansion Zone overlay for Innovation Park speeds up development reviews, with 19 sites from 1.1 to 22.7 acres set aside for high-tech and bioscience. Main industries are bioscience, aerospace and defense, and high-tech manufacturing. Experienced installation crews we schedule and manage install around production hours, anchored to the floor. Companies outgrowing a storeroom can use our warehouse relocation (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/warehouse-relocation) team; suppliers in Marana (https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/marana) are close by. ## Planning a Storeroom With Carton Flow Rack Storerooms next to production need to be fast to pick and easy to audit. We start with a SKU list showing case sizes, weights and daily picks. Fast movers get dedicated carton flow lanes at waist height. Medium movers share lanes or go on shelving. Slow and bulky items move to light-duty selective rack at the back of the room. Restock comes from a rear aisle, so material handlers and pickers do not cross paths. That separation matters most during shift changes. Labels, lane dividers and bed pitch are set before install, and every lane is tested with your actual cases. The CAD layout shows pick-face counts, and the itemized quote lists frames, beds, shelving, freight and installation. Lead time is confirmed on the quote. Standard teardrop frames can qualify for the 48-hour quick ship program for standard pallet rack components. ## Working Around Production Schedules Storerooms next to diagnostics and electronics lines cannot shut down for days. We split installs into sections, move stock into the finished section, then build the next. Wire decking, lane dividers and labels are fitted before stock goes back, so pickers return to a room that is ready to use. Bioscience tenants often store temperature-sensitive kits in a separate cold room. Light carton flow and wire shelving work there as well, using cold-rated parts where the room runs below freezing. Pick-face counts for the cold room appear separately on the drawing. ## Racks Carton Flow and Storage Options Pallet Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pallet-rack Pushback Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pushback-rack Pallet Flow Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/pallet-flow-rack Drive-In Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/drive-in-rack Cantilever Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/cantilever-rack Carton Flow Rack: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/products/carton-flow-rack Warehouse Relocation: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/warehouse-relocation ## Plan a Parts Storeroom Call (520) 335-3953 (5203353953) or use the form. ## Storeroom and Pick Questions ### Can carton flow sit inside pallet rack? ### How many pick faces fit in our storeroom? ### What does carton flow shelving cost? ### Do you install shelving and rack? ## Nearby Service Areas Flowing Wells: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/flowing-wells Red Rock: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/red-rock Green Valley: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/green-valley Benson: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/benson Sierra Vista: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/sierra-vista Florence: https://tucsonpalletrack.com/service-area/florence ## Organize Your Parts Room Free layout.
